I have spoken with the owner and the correct name is: Lignum 2.

It is the Lignium. I believe that's the correct spelling.

She and the Steelhead are placing the ice boom at Prescott. This will remain in place all winter to prevent ice damaging the down-stream hydro plants and to minimize the build-up of ice carried by the current.

While the shipping season is open the boom maintains an opening to allow ships to pass. Once the Seaway closes the boom is closed for the winter.

Does anyone know the name of the very small blue tug with the in Jim Scrimger's pictures for today?
