KATMAI BAY is scheduled to start her Service Life Extension Program period in late May 2017. She is estimated to leave the CG Yard near Baltimore in late June 2018.

In the past this class of CG cutter has gone to Baltimore for refits, so this is most likely the reason for leaving the Lakes - perhaps a typo but her name is USCG KATMAI BAY - hull number 101

Is she going to Baltimore for a refit???
