Re: Toledo Coal Docks
The bad news, Al, is that without any credentials you will never close enough to the CSX docks for a photo opportunity. The good news is that a drive along Front St. will give you a street view of the Anchor Valley coal dock, Kraft Foods, Ironhead Shipyard, St Marys cement dock and historic brownfield sites. The better news is that you stop at the Tony Packo’s restaurant on Front St. for lunch and view the many signed hot dog buns mounted on the walls. I think there is a bar, or 2, on Front St. that were occasionally visited by off-duty crews. The best news is that the every picture imaginable for CSX have been already uploaded to this Boatnerd website by Toledo photographers Jim Hoffman, Bob Vincent, Luke Archer, Kevin Davis, Rich Nicholls, and Steven Feher who has given us our most recent CSX pix.

Re: Toledo Coal Docks
If my memory serves me correctly, you could try Front Street and take that east along the river to Millard Road and hang a right on Millard and possibly a left on Tippen. Anyway, these roads I believe wind their way around the CSX Coal Dock areas however, be prepared to deal with security as they've gotten pretty tight down there since I was last there in 2009. Hope that this helps.

Toledo Coal Docks
As a frequent visitor to Toledo, can anyone provide directions to the Toledo coal docks? Hopefully close enough to get some good photos. Thanks.
