I personally don't think that the Mapleglen is going to be scrapped yet. I think it may be going to Sec 56 is because it's out of the way since it's still kind of early for lakers to be laying up. The reason that it doesn't have a similar paint job to her sisters is that the Mapleglen didn't participate in the ocean trading CSL did with the 'glen's' two years ago. The other three got their paint jobs at the Halifax yard and the Tuzla yard (in turkey). If the Mapleglen isn't being scrapped, I think it will get it's paint job when it's up for it's five year.

GCL is going to unload part of her cargo in Montreal then unload the remainder in Port Cartier, She will be heading to Montreal in ballast from there for the last time. Sad to say but, she is finished.

Saw that too, seems to me she did that a couple years back too. I do hope she's got another trip for Hamilton.

According to what I just saw on the Port of Montreal's website, the Gordon C. Leitch is due to arrive on 12/21 to unload cargo that was loaded at both Toledo and Goderich and is next due into Port Cartier to load iron ore I presume. I would think that if the Leitch loads in Port Cartier, then she will either lay-up in Montreal with a storage cargo of ore for Hamilton, or continue straight to Hamilton unload her ore cargo there and then lay-up in Hamilton.

Gordon C. Leitch and Algocape will be joining her if my info is correct. Not sure what the deal with the Algoway will be.

Mapleglen is due for Section 56 on the 21st for layup. Is this her final stop?
