Algoisle will be heading out tomorrow along with tugs Ionion Pelagos and Vigilant 1, three pilots have been called for 0500 this the last of the three scappers from the grim reaper sec 56, I expect more lakers to go, now that the Canadian Gouvernment dropped the 25 % duty on foreign built ships.

The tug Sirroco was between Quebec and Trois-rivières last night. It is now at section 52 in Montreal. It must be the one taking whichever away.

They are going to need brake tugs on the stern as well.
A large towing firm from Quebec put in a bid for the stern tug, as of yesterday it has not heard if was accepted.

This website http://commercial.apolloduck.com/featur ... ?id=160308 seems to describe the Sauniere and Algonorth, in addition to the Algoisle and Agawa Canyon as being for sale.

Certificate Expires on 5/31/11 for Algoway and Algorail, I have no idea if Algoma will bring them out next year.

Right Leo, Mantadoc (Maritime Trader) Algocen (JW Shelley) had the Fairbanks diesels, Algorail and Agawa Canyon have those as well, I shouild have remembered the Algosounds engine room went down there enough times, she had the Canadian General Electric turbine 9.000. shp. Must have had a senior moment.

The Algosound had a 9,000 s.h.p. steam turbine fed by two boilers. She wasn't ever powered by FM diesels.
