AMA not in dry dock. Tues. 4 pm. But there has been trucks and cranes working on and around it the past few weeks.

Great Republic has arrived and moored in Fraser Shipyards now, currently blocking the drydock slip. The order was supposed to be Dool > Anderson > Irvin.

Can anyone confirm if the Anderson has already been placed in drydock? If not, what is the Great Republic doing at Fraser currently?

Also note that a new ferry is being built in the smaller drydock, otherwise the Irvin could have been placed in that slip.

Anderson has not yet been dry-docked. As of yesterday she's still got hard gangways attached, anchors down, contractors coming and going, etc. and doesn't look like she's immediately ready to be moved into Fraser's graving dock.

Great Republic is in for some kind of brief bit of work, due to leave Fraser again tonight or tomorrow. Even if there was nothing going on in the smaller graving dock the Irvin would likely still be sitting; negotiations are apparently still underway regarding the work to be carried out on the Irvin.

Revisiting the News Channel of 4/24 here at boatnerd, the article is about the Irvin and the order of boats being serviced at Fraser, the Dool first, Anderson second and the Irvin after. The delay of the Irvin has given extra time to Fraser and the group who operate the Irvin to develop a service contract, of which there isn't one yet, that is within budget.

I believe the Anderson is the next boat into the drydock.
As you noted GLF has an interest in getting it going as soon as possible. I believe the agreement with the Irvin was that it would go into drydock after all the active frieghters had been tended to. When the Anderson was added to the list the Irvin got moved back.

If I recall Fraiser has two docks but the smaller one (which the Irvin could use) had a new build already in it.)

Now that the Tim S. Dool has departed from Superior along with the Fraser Shipyards recently, has there been any new news and or updates regarding the Arthur M. Anderson and them eventually going into the drydock at Fraser? I don't know for sure but I had thought and read that the Anderson would be going in to drydock after the Dool departed but there is also the William A. Irvin as well that was due to get drydocked. From my theory and thinking of this at least anyway, GLF would want to get the Anderson now into the drydock and get her out afterward ASAP and that the Irvin will have to sit and wait a bit longer then before she is drydocked then at Fraser. Information news and or updates appreciated. Thanks.
