Chicago Vintage Watercraft

I am trying to locate Chicago area museums or private collections that contain some authentic small watercraft, up to small tugs and period canal houseboats. I cannot seem to locate anything except documents and photos. Are there any public (or private) collections of regional small historic Chicago area watercraft that you are aware of?
