Was that the Mary Page Hannah or the Mary E. Hannah that was in Sturgeon Bay? I'm just curious if the Mary E. Hannah is operating. Published reports say it was sold to RDK LLC of Holland, MI, but they may have someone operating it for them.

And a question about the floating dry dock being scrapped. Is that the only floating dry dock that they have left? Or is there a newer one still in service? Seems like they used at least one quite a bit in the past.

Thanks in advance for any information.

I was fortunate to be in Sturgeon Bay this past weekend to watch as Bay Ship finished work on the Sykes boom and then lifted it back in place with the gantry crane with the Sykes in the graving dock. The tug boat crews are amazing as they towed the unpowered Sykes into the graving dock. Other activity over the weekend included the St Marys Conquest passing thru from Green Bay to Manitowoc, the arrival and departure of the Selvick tugs Mary Hannah and John Selvick which arrived and picked up a barge at Bay Ship, and the Munson and Laud heading south on the horizon to Green Bay on a beautiful sunset evening.

Is there anything left of the old George Seedhouse at the shipyard? Or, is she long gone?

The Sykes was towed into the graving dock today and yard crews lifted the boom back into position while the Sykes was tied to the graving dock wall and then it was towed back to face where the final installation will be completed. Also three more section of the floating drydock were towed to the Roen salvage yard where it will be dismantled by SBmetal and Iron.
