I see from the coast guard website it's just a fishery patrol vessel with a cruising speed of 15 knots, and I'm wondering, why all the interest in it? Is it here for some special reason or occasion?

CCGS Cape Rogers picked up a pilot and or did an exchange of pilots at Trois Rivieres, Quebec, unlike I reported in my last post, saying CCGS Cape Rogers was exempt from using pilots. she should be at the Achorage at Pointe aux Trembles Quebec, east of Montreal after 1300hrs today.

At the speed she is doing, and I believe she may be exempt from using pilots, CCGS Cape Rogers is 198.3 nm from Montreal, given her speed of between 13-14 knots she could arrive at the Montreal anchorage in about 16 hours.

CCGS Cap Rogersis250.5nmiles from Quebec at 15..5 due there at 0600 09-27, you have to remember Cape Rogers won't be doing the same speed all the way to Quebec, factor in the outgoing tide(s) and due times at the pilot stations, at the moment Cape Rogers is twenty two and half hours from Quebec. Presently Cape Rogers is 64.7 nmiles east of Baie Comeau,Quebec. 0728hrs 09-26
