Per previous posts here, the Michigan and Great Lakes were converted to an ATB pair back about 2015 at Bay Shipbuilding. Some type of pin connection, probably an Intercon.Guest wrote:She's not an ATB is she? I didn't think she had a coupler.

When they showed up there, they reported to Sarnia traffic that they'd been taking a few weeks off.

The Great Lakes/Michigan used to unload in Cheboygan but lately that run has switched over to the tug Albert and barge Margerat.

Yes they are, been there for awhile. Don't know why maybe someone else will tell us.
