The Eastern S. S. Corp. had three steamers in 1933 G.H. Ingalls, M. S. Tremaine, and the Henry P. Werner also Eastern Steamship Co. Ltd. was managed by Boland and Cornelius at that time.

Not that I am aware of. As I recall they were a subsidiary of Hanna or one of US steel's subsidiary fleets.

Did Eastern Steamship also have any ocean going passenger ships?

The stack is of the long defunct Eastern Steamship Co.

Built in 1903 356ft steel hull for Eastern S.S. Co. managers Boland & Cornelius. This is for starters.

This picture is of the Henry P Werner in 1929 going under the new suspension bridge under construction between Detroit and Windsor. It was taken by my father who was a deckhand then.
