I think it was handheld. A longer version that I saw yesterday shows someone taking the camera or phone with them as they start to exit the pilot house. Those type of boats are used on the Black Sea regularly. Second, from what I've been reading, the vessel stayed afloat for hours. In fact the stern never went down. Unfortunately being in Eastern Europe, I doubt we will learn much more about this.
