The Hadley's wreck has been a headache for the property owner up there who has taken the sanctuary to court over property rights.

Its remains are part of the Thunder Bay Marine Sanctuary:

It was offered for sale "as is," with no takers in October 1917.

Following the collision with and sinking of the Thomas Wilson in 1902 the Hadley was refloated and sailed again at least until a grounding in 1917 near Alpena. I haven't been able to find anything saying that the Hadley was ever salvaged from that grounding. Does anyone have any further info as to whether the Hadley was salvaged? If not, is there anything left of the wreck, or has it been completely demolished by 100+ years of waves? Thanks!
