I believe heddle Thunder Bay only does up to 730 vessel… due to there is not enough room to remove the tail shaft during the inspection

heddles in hamilton arrent capable of drydocking a 740 foot laker. heddles in st catharies and thunder bay can.

canadian drydocks that can accomodate a 740 foot vessel are located at thunder bay, ont. poer weller, ont. lauzon, quebec and les mechins, quebec.

Davie shipbuilding very big one in Quebec city region , Les Mechins que. Halifax shipyard , St-Johns NFLD and many more smaller ones.

They do, there's Heddle in Hamilton, Port weller drydocks, and a few smaller ones that I can't remember

yes your correct, 5 yr inspections sometimes with an extinsion for one more year, however it has nothing to do with the hull paint. if the company paints the hull during the 5 yr inspection fine, but nothing says they have to.

Is the Canadian fleet subjected to a 5 year drydocking as the American side? Today's picture shows Radcliffe Latimer in need of hull paint. Where are drydocks located in Canada?
