Re: Ojibway in Oshawa
Unfortunately I do not know more about this visit. I was just lucky to see it on a day off. I miss a lot of ship activity in Oshawa as I work an hour away.

Corn is a messy cargo to load and unload. There is a cloud of white dust that settles all over the deck and on everyone working nearby.Hawk75 wrote:Here is a picture of the Ojibway in Oshawa (Nov 3, 2010). Is this the first grain cargo loaded in Oshawa? Seems like Southern Ontario farmers have had a great harvest. Hamilton has been steady loading grain and also loads have come from Owen Sound, Goderich and Sarnia.
Thanks for posting the photo.

Re: Ojibway in Oshawa
A friend of mine near Oshawa, told me the Ojibway loaded corn for a St Lawrence River port. The Ojibway is offloading at Trois Rivieres, Quebec, today.Boat Buddy wrote:What is the Ojibway doing in Oshawa?

No idea what Ojibway was doing at Oshawa, at noon today she was 3 n. miles East of the Thousand Island Bridge down bound in the Seaway.
