Noticed just today, the Oakglen was upbound in the Seaway today on their first trip out from lay up then in Montreal. Must have gotten orders then to fit out and it could be related in part with the annual Fall Grain Rush I’m wondering. Anyway, good to see that they are out and operating then this year and season.

Earlier this season I had heard that the Oakglen was not sailing due to mechanical issues and was awaiting parts to complete repairs. I don’t know if they are still waiting on that, or if she is now ready to sail and just waiting for demand to increase. Either way, I don’t think she is done or retired.

Ok I got that Guest and thanks. However though, I thought that a while back I had read here from someone on here that the Oakglen could be about done and she may be at the wall and not fit out or sail this season. I guess we will have to wait and see on that if both the Oakgken and the Spruceglen return to service and sail this season then or not? Thanks for your reply and information Guest.

Anyone know if they will be out and sailing this season and fall or are they done and finished? They’ve been laid up in Montreal all year and have not sailed yet! Any information anyone has on them is appreciated. Thanks.
