No Michael as it was reported and mentioned here on the News Page of the Boatnerd Site. They had either lost or else damaged their rudder and thus it could not be fixed or repaired before the Seaway closed for the Winter then. Her grain cargo was then offloaded onto another Frdnav vessel then she went into Drydock in Thunder Bay then to get her Rudder fixed and repaired! Not often though you see a Salty spending the Winter Months here then in the Great Lakes. It happened before but I don’t recall when or the details to why it happened? Hope that this info helps. Be and Stay Safe & Warm my friend! All the best to you.

Why did the Federal Yoshino lay up in Thunder Bay? Are they being used as temporary storage?
