I agree with camera clarity and definition. Hope the lookout station gets a go . Looke closely at the bow of the AMERICAN MARINER and you’ll see faint outlines of the block letters CHICAGO, her originally as built intended name.

Karl's Cuisine has been closed since COVID. There's talk about a Marriott going in there. Doubtful if the cam will come back.

Anyone know if or when the Portage Ave cam (the one mounted on Karl's Cuisine) will be back up? I just hope it hasn't suffered the same fate as the Lock 7 cam. As a side note, I see they want to restore the old lookout tower at Rock Cut. Wouldn't that be a winner of a location for a Streamside Live feed! I just think its interesting when you can read the load line markings off some of these high-def webcams or discover a vessel's name when first launched because you can make out the original welded name plating under the current painted lettering .
