Thank you, Guest. I didn't know or remember that Sarter Marine was now owned by GLT. I did know, though, that GLT moved their tugs around. What I thought was that GLT had sold a couple tugs off and Jimmy L. was moving them for themselves or someone else. Thanks, again, for the correction.Guest wrote: May 14, 2025, 6:56 am Keep in mind that the Jimmy L. Is a G-tug herself as Great Lakes Towing purchased Sarter Marine Towing three years ago. The William C. Gaynor towed the Minnesota and New Jersey from Cleveland to Detroit last week. Then the Jimmy L. came to Detroit to pick up the New Jersey and Nebraska to take them to Lake Michigan where they will be reassigned. GLT shuffles tugs around like this every year as they go in and out of maintenance at their shipyard in Cleveland.

I see the tug Jimmy L is taking former (?) Great Lakes Towing tugs somewhere. The AIS on the Jimmy L says :Burns Harbor". First, which tugs are being towed by the Jimmy L, and two, where might the GLT Co. tugs be going and why?
