For maritime images of Toronto back in the day, the television show Seaway(1964) is available on Youtube. One episode of The Adventures of Tugboat Annie (1957) is available, but hardly anything of the harbor shown in that episode.

In 2016, the Algosteel had laid up at pier 512 in Toronto, and actors and crew from the horror show 'The Swarm' used both the dockside and boat to film various scenes. Ever resourceful, the carpentry crew knocked together a set on the dock that was used to film a night scene. It had nothing to do with the ship or the dockside, but the crew was there, so they made the call to use the crew's talents to get another scene filmed.

That’s Toronto, many films and TV shows are filmed there. Film studios are located in the port area near the docks. One of the most famous examples mentioned yearly is the “Oh Fudge” scene in A Christmas Story, where three lakers are visible in the background in the Toronto Ship Channel.

Watching designated survivor last night and noticed a red hulled self unloaded in the background. They were searching for bad guys at the port of Baltimore. I paused and took screen shot and zoomed in on the name board by the pilot house and Baie Comeau. Very cool to spot a laker in an old show but port of Baltimore? Any background information would be appreciated.
Thanks!
