Original equipment. Sailed on a few 18 hatcher's with tarps. And a few hatch farms in the +30. They used butterfly clamps hatch to hatch. And let me say, those tarps were a beast to put on and take off! If you weren't strong before them, you were after!!

I was watching the local news and they were talking to a reporter on the desk of the Mather. I noticed that the hatch clamps had angles clamped over the tarps. I’ve never seen this before. Is this something they added or was this done while the boat was still active?
