They arrived in Toledo today for Winter Lay Up on January 21st with assistance from the USCG icebreaking tug Neah Bay. They are now moored at the CSX #2 Dock with the Edwin H. Gott behind them in the same location and lay up slip.

As of 3:40 pm, 30 December, the American Spirit is upbound in Lake St. Clair with a destination of Two Harbors. She had stopped to refuel in Detroit.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year Bob! Not 100% sure or certain but, they may have just stopped at the Mistersky Fuel Dock to fuel in Detroit and as such they could also be waiting on the weather and the winds to calm and ease along with settling down if these wild 🤪 crazy and wicked winds ever do that is. I’d have to look at the Marine Traffic website and their AIS map to see where they show the American Spirit at currently and then we both along with everyone else here, should have a better idea! I don’t think that they would be laying up in Detroit this Winter but orders can always change and you never know for sure or certain then. Stay warm, safe, healthy and well my friend. Best Wishes to you and your family in the coming New Year also.
