Ron, thanks for the answer. How far up the Ottawa can a tug of that size travel? Thanks again

The tugs enter the Ottawa river at Ste. Anne de Bellevue lock, just west of Lachine. They traveled up the Ottawa to Thurso carrying pulp mill equipment to reopen the mill there. The main tug was the Lac Manitoba. They also had to go through the lock at Carillon.

Back a month or so ago there were pictures of 2 nadro tugs in the Ottawa River towing / pushing a barge bound for Cap de la Madeleine ,Quebec. This was just soon after they had assisted in the tow of a ship to, I believe, Port Maitland, My question is, where would they have entered the Ottawa River. From what I can glean I, would think it would be Montreal. Am I correct? Thanks in advance
