Glass Bottom Boat Wreck Tour
Re: Glass Bottom Boat Wreck Tour
I went on the tour about a month ago. The tour was interesting, but if I'd rather go on a Pictured Rocks tour.

Yes, we have taken the glass bottom tour. I would highly recommend it. The trip was beautiful and, the narrative was not only informative, but looking at history first hand, right before our eyes, very much served our intrigue.
We love Great Lakes history, that's why we all went. However, I don't think having to take diving lessons to go down and become intimate with a Historical Site is really practical for the average person asking for advice.

Yes I've done it. There are only 2 intact schooners that you can see from the surface, the Sweepstakes at Tobermory and the Bermuda off Munising. The other wrecks are woodpiles on the bottom. My personal opinion is don't waste your money when you can learn how to dive them and really start to understand the history, design, and demise of the vessel.
