Nothing of merit here...usually Old Mill Creek is a hotbed, the only thing I saw up there when I went was what my DNR buddy said was a "dog" track. Brought my doberman out the next day, it was easily double the size of his paw. No wolf sitings there though.

around the Alpena area they are getting some... a month early, like everything else in the state

Had some smelters claiming their turf at sunset near the power plant friday. But havent heard if anyone got anything.

Anyone here of any smelt running yet?
