Buffalo due Silver Bay to load ore Thursday July 1 !

The Buffalo is in ballast out on the face. I spoke with a cook on Friday nite and he said probably leaving on Tuesday.

I had heard that the Buffalo was going to be back to work on June 21st. Has she set for the seas yet?

The Buffalo will be leaving Bay Ship on Friday morning. The lines are off and Selvick's tugs are assisting the Buffalo out of the slip.

Had confirmed with a call to a friend who
works in Tawas that the New Ngc has begun
shipping some of its gypsum by great lakes freighter
since last year,both the Sam Laud and the Buffalo
are to make only a few stops during the season.

Crews have been piling up the gypsum here in Tawas, just waiting for the Sam Laud of Buffalo to come pick it up so I can catch a glimpse of them. It sure has been a long time!

The Buffalo is in Sturgeon Bay, but not for much longer, she will be back out in the next 2 weeks or so. As for the Sam Laud, they have done some Cleveland ore shuttles as well as some coal and stone runs on Lake MI, looked like the Sam Laud heading upbound at the Soo today...

Buffalo is still laid-up at Sturgeon Bay and don't know when she
will be sailing. As for Sam Laud, she has been doing the Mittal
Shuttles in Cleveland quite a bit and also making a few runs up
to Silver Bay and also a few stone runs from the Upper Lakes ports
down to Cleveland as well. Hope that this helps.
