Yes, Ed the side rails with the wide white tops will be taken off and removed during winter lay-up this winter on the Equinox as I had posted that question in another post. From reliable sources, she is to lay-up in Hamilton sometime this winter and the rails will be removed at that time. Hope this helps.

I wonder if the side rails with the wide white tops are part of the reinforcements for the ocean crossing of the Algoma Equinox that will be removed this winter?
