Buffalo crushed stone in buffalo still uses one.
I believe it may be in the Lackawanna port facility. If not they have a quarry along I 90 just east of buffalo in Lancaster. And Cheektowaga east of 90 where it runs north and south on the east side of Buffalo

There may be a few other places to find your Koehring. I think the George Gradel Co. has one at its Toledo port dock. I lost the picture credit in my download. There may be a Koehring at Dean’s Yard in Lasalle, ON and in the Luedtke Engineering fleet. Thanks for the post. In looking at past pictures in the photo galleries, there are other great excavators like the Clydes and Manitowocs.

Thank you for checking out your picture archives. The Koehring excavator posted below is from the late 80's, early 90's. The 866(c)(d)/1066(c)(d)/1266(c)(d), were built from the 1960's till about the 1980's.

I found a picture of a 866 or 1066 at IMS, it is attached below and was taken by Alex Howard during the IMS scrapyard tour Saturday October 19, 2002.

The video is of a 1066d model, this is the type of machine that I'm looking for. The Yankcanuk had a 1466 Koehring mounted on it's deck, which it used to unload cargo.

I looked at my Soo photos and the only shore equipment I had a photo of was a Manitowoc crane.

I do have some shots of Michigan Waterways Marine Construction doing some dredging in Bolles Harbor (Monroe) taken on 12-1-2012. But I assume this is a newer excavator than what you are looking for.

Just wanted to let you know that somebody checked all their old IMS Port Colborne and Port Maitland pictures and found only Cat and Case excavators, no Koehring. I'm not saying there aren't any there, but if so, they didn't manage to sneak into any of my boat stuff pictures.

Excavator IMS/Soo

I've noticed in some photos posted on this site, that there appears to be some old Koehring excavators kicking around the breaker yards in Port Colborne and at the Soo.

Would anyone happen to have any photos of these machines in those yards? I can assure you that I've covered every inch of google, searching for reference material, and even have collected three different manuals.

I'm working on a 3D model of the Koehring 1066, but any model in that series (666d,866d,1066c/d,1266d) should do as they share similar parts. Attached is a photo of my creation, a few details are needed.

Any leads would be much appreciated!!
