If anyone is interested and not seen it yet, I highly recommend that you go to the www.lakesuperiormagazine.com as they have an article with 17 pictures of Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and the photos are just stunning of all the ice. They also showed this on the World News here in the Detroit area about two weeks or so ago and it was just fascinating to see. The pictures show the ice and some of the caves shrouded in ice. Definitely worth looking at. I haven't seen or heard anything about Pictured Rocks in the Munising area but, I would imagine it is about the same thing. If anyone has any photos of Apostle Islands or even up at Pictured Rocks, could you please send them to boatnerd? I am sure many would love to see these stunning and captivating photos as it is something no one may never see again ever in their lifetime!
