Sorry to hear about your health issues Shirley. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for better health and better days ahead for you. Wish I could join you, Lighthouse Sherri and Denny, in visiting Violet's 'bench', but due to crippling arthritis will not be able to make the trip.
I still miss her so much ~ could always count on receiving at least one email from her every day.
It's just not the same without you, Lady Pirate.:)

I agree with you Sherri as I miss our dear friend the Lady Pirate as well. This board just hasn't been the same lately without her along with some of our other departed boatnerds as well. At least when they were hear with us, it sure helped pass the time and they all made us laugh as well with their comments. I too will be visiting the bench and will always think of her whenever her favorite boat the American Spirit (ex-George A. Stinson) passes by.

Makes me happy to see the tribute bench will become a reality. I for one will be visiting it. Miss you Violet..
