Although we see many signs of Spring along the St. Clair River thick ice still has the St. Marys River, Whitefish Bay, and Lake Superior traffic in its grip. Many turned out just to watch and photograph the Canadian cutter Martha L. Black on her way there, with added strength and support to the other hard working ice breakers that have put so many months into the effort.
