When was the last time that freighters used the Canadian lock and what was the last freighter to do so?

As per Parks Canada website.
Lock Hours of Operation:

May 15 - June 19 7 days per week
11:30 am - 7:30 pm
June 20 - September 1
7 days per week
9:00 am - 9:00 pm

September 2 - October 15 7 days per week
11:30 am - 7:30 pm
October 16 - May 14, 2015 Closed for
winter

Is the Canadian Lock in the Soo open this year? I haven't heard any activity on the scanner from there.
