Just got home form a road trip to Toledo. Went specifically to visit the new National Museum of the Great Lakes that opened 4/23/14.
The displays are professionally done, specific displays for each of our beloved lakes , knowledgeable docents and visitor friendly.
We learned that the museum will have the wheelhouse from the Challenger there in the near future. ]Definitely worth a trip to visit this new facility. We also toured the Shoonmaker, who is moored there. What a fun weekend.
