In 1959 how many vessels were still operating on the lakes without radar? I know in the Scotiadoc and Burlington had radar when they collided in 1953 but they were both Lakers. Was this common for Salties of the era?
Sounds suprising that they wouldn't have any radar. It came into existence nearly 20 years prior during early battles in WWII.
