I was previously unaware of your two books. So I went looking and I cannot get them on Amazon. Googling brings up a few links. But I was wondering.where is the best place to order these books if they are still available?

Wow, that was very generous of you, Captain! Not sure I would want to give them up, if it was me. :)
Glad you had the chance to get back the island! I could tell from your book how much you loved it there!
Shipwreck artifacts given to NPS

Those of you who have read either of my two books, 'Sea Stories' or 'Life Aboard a Laker' know that my plan was to return the ship wreck artifacts that I have over to the NPS. I kept my promise! On July 26th I returned to Isle Royale on the Ranger III to all my artifacts over to Ranger Dan Pontbriand of NPS.
Artifacts, such as the Algoma wheel, will be displayed at the Rock Harbor Lighthouse and possibly the other artifacts too. Isle Royale is a beautiful national park to visit and to look at the artifacts from many different shipwrecks.
