I echo the poster below.
Thanks to all involved, we had a great time (save weather and cacophony at night). I would skip the shoreline cruise next time.

Just got back from the Badger gathering, had a great time. Thanks to the folks at Boatnerd for putting together the trip and to the Badger crew for the great job they do. Really enjoyed the trip back to Ludington Saturday afternoon, the boat was rolling just enough to rock me to sleep.

Weathers gonna be cool, and cooler on the lake. Dress warm.

Bring a fleece throw. Sometimes sleeping can be cool, and linens are light.

No showers on board.

Cash works best at the bar. Plastic accepted at gift shop and eateries.

Wide angle lense for engine room photos.

Staying at Nader's Saturday night?

I'll be the guy with the tractor hat.

This will be our first time on the Badger. We have a stateroom for the night. Any tips for making the trip more enjoyable (wife is coming along)?
Much appreciated,

Only a few days to go !

Weather's not looking great. Might wanna pack some cool & wet weather gear.

Although........this is Michigan. The weather is very tough to predict. So goes the quote: "If you don't like the weather, just wait an hour".

See you all on Friday !

Glad to hear the over nighter in a few weeks is sold out. This'll be our 5th year. Looking forward to seeing the gang again.

If you're staying at Nader's Saturday night, tell them you're with this group, as you should get in under the off season rates like we did.

I spotted the SS Badger, at Luddington, on the AIS today. That reminded me that on Friday 15th. she starts her first seasonal voyage.
I think it is great that she is still able to operate despite the fact that many wanted her out of service.
