Others have already estimated the City of Flint 32 card to be the mid 1950's, which seems likely. Definitely post 1947, when C&O absorbed the Pere Marquette Railway. The streamlined stacks were installed on the City of Flint 32 and the City of Saginaw 31 earlier, in 1942.

The port appears to be Manitowoc. That unique power pole is still there, right next to the maritime museum.

The CSL boat in card 4 is the Simcoe. Sistership to the Algocen/Shelly

I like these, I'll wager a guess or so.

Card 4: I would guess that this is the old Black Bay of the CSL renamed Canadian Voyager for ULS before her scrapping. It's possible that it could be the old Baie St. Paul but I think the bridge wings on the Baie would be more prominent and visible at that angle.

Card 2: is the Georgian Bay. The forward bulwark was different than the Dunn's

Card 1: I'm gonna guess here because I am not terribly well versed in the old AMShip SU's but I'd guess you have the old George B. Rand again.

Card 3: Based on the old car to the left side of the photo, I'd guess that date was late 50's earlier 60's.

The City of Flint post card is likely from the mid-1950's, not from the markings on the ferry, but on the extreme left, a yellow and white car is party seen blurred, which maybe a 1955 Chevy. In anycase, the bright colors and modern style is a mid to late 1950's car, not earlier than that, and likely not later either.
That is the Georgian Bay.
The American SS boat behind the other two became the Avondale in Canada in 1962, which was built in 1908 as Adam E. Cornelius, becoming the Detroit Edison in 1948, and George F. Rand in 1954.

These are the last 4 postcards I have questions about concerning the collection I'm cataloging.

Card 1: Shows three ASC ships at Toledo. This includes the Sinaloa and the Consumers Power (2) in the foreground. I'm trying to identify the ship moored directly behind these two. I find no copyright on the card but would say the photograph was taken in the 1950s by the renaming of the Sinaloa in 1960 and the Consumers Power (2) in 1958.

Card 2: This is of a CSL bulker downbound on the St. Clair River just below the Blue Water Bridge. A handwritten note on the back says the ship in the photo is the Sir James Dunn, but I believe that it may be the Georgian Bay. Unfortunately the name is washed out but there appears to be a "Bay" at the end of it.

Card 3: This is of the City of Flint 32. I was just wondering if someone could establish a timeframe on this photograph by the color scheme / stack markings.

Card 4: This is an oversize card of the USCG Mackinaw passing upbound through the MacArthur Lock. It looks like it may have been taken during some special event. Possibly the opening of the Poe Lock? Or on an Engineers Day event as there are several people visible along the lock walls. I seem to recall seeing a aerial view of the Mackinaw in the MacArthur Lock and the Philip R. Clarke in the Poe Lock at the official dedication of the Poe Lock in 1969. In this photograph, the Clarke is not visible but a CSL 730 footer and Huron Cement's J.A.W. Iglehart can be seen awaiting passage through the lock.
