Labor Day on the St. Clair River
While waiting for one of the vessels, someone asked why I was out on such a hot day. I said I was waiting to photograph a freighter and they suggested, because it was Labor Day, "Maybe the boats aren't running, today." As you will see, they were, but spaced out from early morning to late afternoon.

- Don't know why, but this patrol boat came down the river with lights flashing, made a fast turn, and stopped in a group of jet skiers and boaters. (I asked about the orange boat across the river. It may be a private supply boat for doing waterfront repair work.)

- The last time we saw Samuel Risley, it seemed like minus 92°! Today, it was a hot and humid 92° as they headed to Parry Sound.
