thanks for all the response. She does not show in the ship registry anymore. I have a hard time tracking these old boats down when they seem to disappear from Canadian registry. Thanks

Same wheelhouse, different windows. That picture was taken after her hull was widened, but before the house was pushed out. Note the wide guardrail.

This may be the wheelhouse configuration that you remember.
Photo taken in 1966 at Port Stanley Ontario.

In 2011 at least, Anderson Fisheries in Wawa, Ontario was still using the L & S as part of a boatshuttle service to transport hikers to Michipicoten Island and other Lake Superior islands. Don’t know if she is still in that service. A phone call to Anderson might answer that question.

At last report, L & S was owned by the Anderson family at Michipicoten, Ontario. She is still used as a fish tug, but also to ferry kayakers and canoeists around the area. She is one of the longer-serving tugs, being built in Port Stanley in 1936.

the fishtug L&S used to fish southern Lake Huron and I was under the impression it had been scrapped in 2007. The government registration states it was suspended in 2007 but I saw a photo of her from 2011 when searching "Fishtugs of Lake Superior" Does anyone know if she is still around and if so where? Thanks
